Francesca Garrone

From Turin and transplanted to Paris, she is an artist used to flying high. Suspended upon a trapeze or on simple silk, she has choreographed elegant aerial designs with her body over the heads of the spectators of the Cirque d'Hiver during the Bangkok International Film Festival and at many other dates in theatres, art exhibits and musical events.
Francesca strives to make a balance in her aerial work between dance and the circus arts. A teacher of the aerial arts at la Scuola di Formazione di Arti Circensi “Flic” in Turin, Francesca Garrone comes from a long experience in street theatre (Stockholm, Antwerp, Strasburg, Frankfort, Geneva, Nice, Paris and Rome). In Paris itself she expanded and honed her aerial artistry on trapeze, the Spanish web, and silks. Also in Paris, in 1996, she founded, with the Haffner Brothers, La compagnie “Les Farfadais”. Her numerous experiences have included theatrical show at the Prague Olympic Festival, all'Espace”Pierre Cardin in Paris, at the “Gala Awards Ceremony” of Monaco e at the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Turin 2006.
